Winning the Rock & Roll 1/2 Marathon
My great friend Ann gave me a plaque and I have it hanging on my bedroom wall surrounded by photos of me doing some sports, Ellie & I, Sunny & I, friends, etc. I feel this says it all;
Life
is not a journey to the grave with
the intention of arriving safely
in a pretty & well preserved body
but rather to skid in broadside
totally worn out & proclaiming
"WOW WHAT A RIDE!"
